盖布喜欢上罗斯玛丽是一见钟情，他在婚纱店里看到她穿着花童装宛若天仙，而电影的结尾，罗斯玛丽依然是花童，两人确实以分离为结局，一切来的太快，也挺值得太快。但庆幸的是爱情在短时间内可以带来很多。盖布和罗斯一起练跆拳道，一起去看房子，一起在公园里玩耍，一起去吃饭，两人的接吻，所有来得简单而真实。
肯定会有人拿《怦然心动》来比较，我觉得两部都很好，前者只有单线独白，后者是双线独白。两片的特色就是两位萌到飞起的小演员，他们表现出来那种对爱情的青涩真实无比，不断改变的爱情状态也演绎的纯真自然，想必这就是童星表演的最大优势，不加修斯，清新自然。两部影片都可以拿来当孩童爱情启蒙片
