The hero named George in this movie is a psychic that can reading one's death relative after touch his or her hand. For him this ability is not gift whereas curse. He meet the heroine at London book fair in his journey which he want to himself after he was fired.
He also meet the another hero of this movie, the younger one of the twins in a single parents family with a poor mother both in materially and psychological.He meet George help him to read his elder passed about 1 year ago.
Wateriness and smooth story, but remarkable and deeply.
今天听了岳晓东博士的讲座,里头提起了哀伤告别,我才恍然大悟。通灵、灵媒之类的,他们所作的不就是这个意思吗?!
美剧里头,总喜欢把psychic跟psychology混在一起,看来还是有道理的哈。不知道是谁借鉴了谁,总之大家要达到的目的是一样的,让人可以真正接受丧失,从而减轻痛苦,走出阴霾。
但是为什么这种告别仪式可以有效呢?为什么通过这种假想的沟通,可以缓解丧失的伤痛呢?
选择这样一个沉闷的剧本,老头子深知其中的风险。摒弃自己一贯擅长的题材却转来拍摄这样一部试图解析死后经历的影片,这对于高龄的克林德伊斯特伍德来说其实可以理解,风烛残年的他也不得不去思考死后自己的归宿,而此时看见这样题材的本子当然不会放过。
影片开头的海啸做的非常逼真,据说这次的特效也没有花太高的费用,低成本也能做的那么逼真,这让我想起中国大陆的冯姓非著名导演拍过的一部《XX台风》,不禁为之汗颜。转而想来,中国拍不出这样逼真画面恐怕也不仅仅是电影科技的不足,恐怕导演态度以及拍摄的技巧上也存在较大的差距。
但海啸过后影片的节奏也随之趋于平静甚至有些平淡,虽然看过影片的简介后也没有带多大的期望来观影,但最终对于影片整体的节奏还是挺不满意,特别是马特达蒙的角色更加觉得是败笔,他的演技没有得到充分的发挥,一位故弄弦虚的通灵者没必要每次都刻意矜持,而每次又“不出意料”地为影片的角色们进行所谓的通灵,当然这样的人物最终要为几个平行叙事进行穿针引线
