The Guernsey Literary & Potato Peel Pie Society: The title is weird. The island is pretty. The war is cruel. The people are lovely. Books are powerful. Love is never wrong. A cute poem in the movie: “when I was three I was hardly me/ when I was four I was not much more/ when I was five I was just alive/ but now I’m six, I’m as clever as clever/ so I think I’ll be six now for, ever and ever” Inspired by this I wrote a lame poem: When I was fifteen snow danced in an
When I was three
I was hardly me
When I was four
I was not much more
When I was five
I was just alive
But now I am six
I'm as clever as a clever
So I think I'll be six
till forever and ever
